Blood:Water Mission
Blood:Water Mission
Blood:Water Mission is grassroots organization that empowers communities to work together against the water and HIV/AIDS Crises in Africa. We invite artists to learn the story of our neighbors in Africa and how partnering with them in their hopes for safe water and access to health can make a difference.
Founded in 2005 by Grammy-award winning artists, Jars of Clay, we have come along side communities to provide over 600,000 people in nearly 900 communities in 11 countries with safe water. Additionally, we have opened comprehensive care clinics to bring health and support to those living with HIV/AIDS. People living positively with AIDS can't stay healthy if the only water they have access to is making them sick.
We desire to bring health and hope to these communities, our friends and neighbors, while making a difference in our own communities. We are made of lemonade stands, car washes, benefit concerts, and creative designers who use their talents to turn their passion into action.
This is the heart of who we are. Transformation doesn't come without local engagement - on both continents. This is a movement for ordinary people, allowing them to step into something extraordinary. How will you be the movement?
